Ingredients:
1/2 cupCornstarch
3 lbsChicken*
1/4 cupWater
1/4 cupDark Soy Sauce
1 1/2 tspMinced Ginger
1 tspWhite Pepper
1 1/2 tspMinced Garlic
1 Egg
1/2 cupDark Soy Sauce
1 cupCornstarch
1/4 cupWhite Vinegar
1 cupSalad Oil
1/4 cupCooking Sherry
2 cupSliced Green Onions
1 1/2 cupHot Chicken Broth
16 smallHot Dried Peppers
1 tbspMSG -- (optional)
3/4 cupRefined Sugar
Procedures:
1*dark deboned in chunks i divided recipe portions (above) to make it easier to pre-prepare.
2To make sauce, mix cornstarch and water together.
3Add garlic , ginger, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and wine.
4Then add broth and msg and stir "til sugar dissolves.
5Refrigerate "til needed.
6In separate bowl mix chicken, soy sauce and pepper.
7Stir in egg.
8Add cornstarch until chicken is coated evenly.
9Add oil to help separate chicken pieces.
