Ingredients:
6 eachChicken breast halves
1/2 canFlour
1/2 tspPepper
4 tbspButter
1/4 cupHoney
1/4 cupLemon juice
1 tbspSoy sauce
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Wash and drain the chicken.
3Combine flour and pepper in a paper bag, then add chicken pieces.
4Shake to coat well.
5In a small saucepan, melt butter.
6Pout half of it into a 9x13-inch shallow baking dish.
7Place chicken in dish, turning to coat with butter, then leave skin-side down.
8Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
9To the butter remaining in saucepan, add rest of ingredients.
10Warm, blending with a whisk.
11At end of 30 minutes, turn chicken and pour honey mixture over top.
12Bake another 30 minutes, basting several times with sauce.
13Good with this: rice cooked in chicken broth then finished with sweet butter and a goodly amount of chopped chives or parsley, plus simply dressed sliced tomatoes, and yellow squash and sweet corn
