| 1 | Ingredients: 1 cup flour 2 tblsp melted shortening 2 tsp baking powder 1 cup brown sugar ?tsp salt ?cup cocoa 2 tblsp cocoa 1 ?cups hot water ?cup milk ?cup sugar mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa together. | | 2 | Stir in milk and shortening. | | 3 | Spread in a 9x9" pan. | | 4 | Sprinkle with brown sugar and ?cup cocoa. | | 5 | Pour hot water over all. | | 6 | Bake 45 minutes at 350. | | 7 | This forms kind of a chocolate cakeish thing with its own chocolate sauce. |
