Ingredients:

| | Eggs | | 1/4
| cup | Ketchup | | 1
| tsp | Dried basil | | 1
| tsp | Leaf oregano | | 2
| | Crushed garlic cloves | | 3/4
| cup | Fine dry bread crumbs | | 1
| lbs | Medium ground beef | | 1
| lbs | Hot Italian sausage | | 1/2
| cup | Grated mozzarella cheese |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | | 2 | Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. | | 3 | Line bottom with greased waxed paper and set aside. | | 4 | In a large bowl, whisk eggs with ketchup, seasonings and garlic. | | 5 | Stir in bread crumbs. | | 6 | Add ground beef and work with your hands until evenly mixed. | | 7 | Remove casings from sausages and add to ground-beef mixture along with mozzarella. | | 8 | Work with your hands until blended. | | 9 | Press meat mixture into prepared pan and smooth top. | | 10 | Lay a sheet of foil loosely over top and bake in centre of preheated oven for 1 hour. | | 11 | Drain off accumulated fat. | | 12 | Continue baking, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes more. | | 13 | Let sit in pan for 5 minutes before turning out. | | 14 | Serve hot or cold. | | 15 | This loaf freezes well. |
