Hot italian loaf

Ingredients:
2 Eggs
1/4 cupKetchup
1 tspDried basil
1 tspLeaf oregano
2 Crushed garlic cloves
3/4 cupFine dry bread crumbs
1 lbsMedium ground beef
1 lbsHot Italian sausage
1/2 cupGrated mozzarella cheese
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350°F.
2Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
3Line bottom with greased waxed paper and set aside.
4In a large bowl, whisk eggs with ketchup, seasonings and garlic.
5Stir in bread crumbs.
6Add ground beef and work with your hands until evenly mixed.
7Remove casings from sausages and add to ground-beef mixture along with mozzarella.
8Work with your hands until blended.
9Press meat mixture into prepared pan and smooth top.
10Lay a sheet of foil loosely over top and bake in centre of preheated oven for 1 hour.
11Drain off accumulated fat.
12Continue baking, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes more.
13Let sit in pan for 5 minutes before turning out.
14Serve hot or cold.
15This loaf freezes well.
