Biscuit-topped deep-dish ham bake

Ingredients:
1 Chopped onion
2 tbspButter
2 tbspAll-purpose flour
1 1/4 cupCooked, diced ham
1 cupCooked diced carrots
1/2 cupCooked peas
1/2 tspDried thyme
Procedures:
1In skillet, cook onion in butter until softened.
2Stir in flour and cook 1 min. gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring until thickened.
3Remove from heat; stir in ham, carrots, peas and thyme.
4Transfer to deep pie plate or shallow casserole.
5Mix 12 tea biscuits from your favourite mix and arrange on top.
6Bake in 450f (230c) oven for 10 - 12 min. or until biscuits are golden brown.
