Ingredients:
175 grams6 oz red lentils.
100 grams3, 5 oz cheddar cheese grated
5 ml1 tsp vegetable extract.
5 ml1 tsp dried mixed herbs.
10 ml2 tsp sunflower oil.
2 medOnions peeled and chopped.
1 Clove garlic crushed.
300 mlHalf pt water.
Procedures:
1Put the lentils, cheese, vegetable extract and mixed herbs into a bowl.
2Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and gently fry the onions and garlic.
3Mix with the lentils and spoon into a large lightly greased oven proof dish.
4Add the water and cover the dish with foil.
5Cook in the oven at 180 c 350°F, gas mark 4 for one and a half hours
