Ingredients:
10 ml2 tsp sunflower oil.
2 medOnions peeled and chopped.
1 Clove garlic, crushed.
15 ml1 tbsp curry powder.
50 grams2 oz sultanas
5 ml1 tsp dried mixed herbs.
250 grams8 oz red lentils.
300 mlHalf pt skimmed milk.
15 ml1 tbsp vinegar.
Ground black pepper.
Pn Salt.
Procedures:
1Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions for 8 minutes.
2Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes.
3Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
4Place the mixture in a large greased oven proof dish and cover with foil.
5Cook in the oven at 180 c, 350°F, gas mark 4 for 1 and three quarter hours
