Ingredients:
| 10
| ml | 2 tsp sunflower oil. | | 2
| med | Onions peeled and chopped. | | 1
| | Clove garlic, crushed. | | 15
| ml | 1 tbsp curry powder. | | 50
| grams | 2 oz sultanas | | 5
| ml | 1 tsp dried mixed herbs. | | 250
| grams | 8 oz red lentils. | | 300
| ml | Half pt skimmed milk. | | 15
| ml | 1 tbsp vinegar. | | | Ground black pepper. | | | Pn Salt. |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions for 8 minutes. | | 2 | Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes. | | 3 | Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. | | 4 | Place the mixture in a large greased oven proof dish and cover with foil. | | 5 | Cook in the oven at 180 c, 350°F, gas mark 4 for 1 and three quarter hours |
