Linguine with clam sauce

Ingredients:
12 ozLinguine pasta
2 tbspOlive oil
1 largeClove garlic, minced
1 smallOnion, finely chopped
1 - 10 oz can minced clams
1/4 cupChopped parsley (omit if
-fresh is not available)
1 tbspLemon juice
1 dashHot pepper sauce
Procedures:
1Grated parmesan cheese cook linguine according to package directions,making sure that it is not overcooked.
2While pasta cooks,heat oil in a skillet.saute garlic and onions until soft but not browned.add clams with liquid,parsley,lemon juice and hot pepper sauce.heat through.
3Drain linguine;place on a platter and pour clam sauce over it.
4Sprinkle with parmesan cheese,as desired.yields 2 servings
