Ingredients:

| cup | Horseradish, grated | | 1
| x | *or: | | 1
| tsp | Flour | | 1
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| x | Paprika | | 1/4
| cup | Cream | | 1/4
| cup | Milk | | | 1 ea Egg yolk | | 1/8
| tsp | Pepper |

Procedures:
| 1 | Put the grated horseradish into a small earthen cooking vessel; add the flour, salt, paprika and butter; pour in the cream and let cook until thick and smooth. | | 2 | Keep stirring constantly. | | 3 | Move to the back of the stove and add the egg yolk, stirring rapidly. | | 4 | Cook for 30 seconds and serve at once. | | 5 | This sauce may be eaten as a relish with hot roast or boiled beef |
