Ham & shrimp creole

Ingredients:
3 tbspButter
2 cupCanned tomatoes
1 1/2 cupHot water or stock
2 tbspOnion flakes
3 tspSalt
1/2 tspSugar
1/8 tspThyme
1/2 lbsRaw shrimp, peeled
3 tbspFlour
1/4 cupTomato paste
1/2 cupDiced green pepper
2 tbspChopped parsley
2 tspChili powder
1/4 tspGarlic powder
2 cupDiced, cooked ham
1 tspLemon juice
Procedures:
1Melt butter in a 2.5 qt heavy saucepan.
2Remove from heat.
3Blend in flour and cook over low heat until the mixture is a medium to dark brown.
4Remove from heat and add the next 11 ingredients.
5Simmer 20 minutes, covered.
6Add ham, shrimp and lemon juice.
7Cook uncovered, for 10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
8Serve over hot cooked rice
