Cantaloupe cream pie

Ingredients:
1 cupSugar
2 tbspFlour, all-purpose
3 Egg, beaten
1 cupCantaloupe, pureed
1 tspVanilla extract
2 tbspButter (or marg.)
1 Pastry shell, 8", baked
1 cupWhipping cream, whipped
Procedures:
1Combine sugar and flour in a saucepan; add eggs, mixing well.
2Stir in cantaloupe puree.
3Cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.
4Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla and butter.
5Cool.
6Pour filling into pastry shell; spread evenly with whipped cream.
7Chill.
