Ingredients:
4 Eggs
1/2 cupSUgar
1/2 tspNutmeg
1/4 tspSalt
1 1/3 cupMilk, scalded
3/4 cupCream, scalded
1 tspVanilla extract
1 Unbaked 8-inch pie shell
Procedures:
1Beat the eggs slightly; add sugar, nutmeg, and salt and beat just until blended.
2Gradually add the scalded milk and cream, stirring constantly.
3Mix in the extract.
4Strain mixture into pie shell bake at 450°F 10 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until a knife in serted in custard halfway between center and edge comes out clean cool on wire rack.
5Place in refrigerator until ready to serv
