| 1 | Combine ?cup sugar with cornstarch and lime peel in medium saucepan and mix well. |
| 2 | Add lime juice and stir until smooth. |
| 3 | Blend in half and half and butter. |
| 4 | Place over medium heat and stir until mixture thickens and starts to boil, about 10 to 12 minutes. |
| 5 | Remove from heat and let cool, stirring occasionally. |
| 6 | Fold in sour cream. |
| 7 | Turn mixture into baked pie shell. |
| 8 | Combine whipping cream and 1 to 2 t sugar in medium bowl and whip to soft peaks. |
| 9 | Spread atop pie and serve |
