Maple pecan pie

Ingredients:
1/4 cupButter or margarine, melted
1 cupDark brown sugar
1 cupDark amber maple syrup
3 Eggs, well beaten
1/4 tbspSalt
1 tbspVanilla
1 cupPecans
1 9" pie shell
Procedures:
1Cream butter or margarine and sugar.
2Add syrup, eggs, salt, and vanilla.
3Mix together and add pecans.
4Bake 5 minutes at 450°F then reduce heat to 350°F and bake about 40 minutes until firm.
