Ingredients:

| cup | Butter or margarine, melted | | 1
| cup | Dark brown sugar | | 1
| cup | Dark amber maple syrup | | 3
| | Eggs, well beaten | | 1/4
| tbsp | Salt | | 1
| tbsp | Vanilla | | 1
| cup | Pecans | | 1
| | 9" pie shell |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream butter or margarine and sugar. | | 2 | Add syrup, eggs, salt, and vanilla. | | 3 | Mix together and add pecans. | | 4 | Bake 5 minutes at 450°F then reduce heat to 350°F and bake about 40 minutes until firm. | | 5 | Makes one 9" pie |
