Midnight mint pie

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cupCrushed thin mint cookies
1/4 cupMelted butter or margarine
FILLING
1 cupButter
4 ozMelted, unsweetened chocolate
1 tspPeppermint extract
2 cupSifted powdered sugar
4 Eggs
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Blend cookie crumbs with butter and press into bottom and sides of a 9" pie pan.
3Bake 5 to 7 minutes and cool thoroughly.
4Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
5Add chocolate, eggs and peppermint extract, beating until well combined.
6Mound filling into the baked pie shell.
7Freeze until firm
