Ingredients:
6 ozChocolate
-semi-sweet
1/4 cupCoffee liqueur
1 tbspInstant coffee, dry
1/2 cupBrown sugar
-packed
1 cupCorn syrup
3 Eggs, beaten
1/4 cupButter, melted
2 tspVanilla
1/4 tspSalt
1 cupPecans
-coarsly chopped
1 9''pie-shell
-unbaked
1 cupPecan halves
Procedures:
1Directions: in heatproof bowl set over simmering water, melt chocolate with coffee liqueur and instant coffee granules.
2Stir until smooth.
3Remove from heat; stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
4Stir in corn syrup, eggs, butter, vanilla, salt and chopped pecans.
5Pour filling into pie shell;arrange pecan halves decoratively on top .
6Bake at 350f for 45-50 minutes, or until edges feel set but centre still jiggles slightly.
7Let cool on wire rack before serving.
