Paper bag apple pie

Ingredients:
1 Unbaked pie shell
8 Cooking apples
1/2 cupSugar
2 tbspFlour
1/2 tspCinnamon or nutmeg
2 tbspLemon juice
Topping:
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 cupFlour
1/2 cupButter or margarine
Procedures:
1Prepare pastry shell.
2Put aside.
3Pare and core about 8 cooking apples.
4Cut into quarters then cut these in half.place in large bowl and set aside.
5Combine and mix well the ?c sugar, 2 t flour.

7Cinnamon or nutmeg( the recipe calls for nutmeg but person giving this recipe likes cinnamon better) sprinkle over apple chunks and toss lightly.
8Spoon into prepared shell.
9Sprinkle the 2 t lemon juice over top.
10Topping: combine in bowl ?c sugar, ?c flour, mix well and add ?c butter or margarine and cut in with pastry blender or two knives until like course cornmeal.
11Sprinkle this mixture over top of pie.
12Slide pie into a large supermarket paper bag.
13Fold open end twice and fasten with paper clips or staple.
14Place on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F for 1 hour.
15Remove from oven, split bag open and cool pie on wire rack.
16Do not open bag while baking.
