Ingredients:

| tbsp | Butter, softened | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| cup | Flour | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1
| | Egg | | 1
| tbsp | Dried mint leaves | | 1
| tbsp | Ground cinnamon | | 4
| med | Cooking apples, peeled | | | -cored and cut into ? | | | -slices | | 1
| cup | Heavy cream, whipped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat the oven to 350 °F. | | 2 | Coat the bottom and sides of an 8"x8"x2" baking dish with the butter. | | 3 | Set aside. | | 4 | Combine the sugar, flour, and baking powder - sifting them together into a bowel. | | 5 | Make a well in the center and drop in the egg. | | 6 | Mix together until the egg is absorbed into the flour. | | 7 | In a large bowel, mix together the mint and the cinnamon. | | 8 | Add the apples and toss until the apples are coated. | | 9 | Arrange the slices in the baking dish and scatter the flour mixture over them, spreading and pressing gently to cover the apples completely. | | 10 | Bake in the oven center for 45 minutes, or until the top is crusty. | | 11 | Serve at room temperature accompanied by the whipped cream |
