Ingredients:

| cup | PECAN HALVES | | | 3 ea EGGS | | 1
| cup | FIRM PACKED BROWN SUGAR | | 1
| cup | LIGHT CORN SYRUP | | 1
| tsp | LEMON JUICE | | 1 1/2
| tsp | VANILLA | | 6
| tbsp | MELTED BUTTER |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 3500°F. | | 2 | Scatter pecans on bottom of pie shell. | | 3 | Beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice and vanilla in a small bowl. | | 4 | Mix only until combined. | | 5 | Beat in butter, a tablespoon at a time. | | 6 | Pour onto pecans in pie shell. | | 7 | Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until filling puffs and quivers slightly when you nudge the pie. | | 8 | Cool completly. | | 9 | Cut into thin wedges and top with cool whip if desired |
