Pecan pie

Ingredients:
1 cupPECAN HALVES
3 ea EGGS
1 cupFIRM PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 cupLIGHT CORN SYRUP
1 tspLEMON JUICE
1 1/2 tspVANILLA
6 tbspMELTED BUTTER
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 3500°F.
2Scatter pecans on bottom of pie shell.
3Beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice and vanilla in a small bowl.
4Mix only until combined.
5Beat in butter, a tablespoon at a time.
6Pour onto pecans in pie shell.
7Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until filling puffs and quivers slightly when you nudge the pie.
8Cool completly.
9Cut into thin wedges and top with cool whip if desired
