Ingredients:

| cup | C and H Golden Brown Sugar | | | -- (firmly packed) | | 3
| | Eggs | | 3/4
| cup | Corn syrup (light or dark) | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/4
| cup | Butter or margarine, melted | | 1
| cup | Pecans (halves or pieces) | | 1
| | Unbaked 9" pastry shell |

Procedures:
| 1 | In mixing bowl combine sugar and eggs; beat wel. | | 2 | Beat in syrup, salt, vanilla and butter. | | 3 | Stir in pecans. | | 4 | Pour into unbaked pastry shell. | | 5 | (garnish with pecan halves, if desired). | | 6 | Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until filling is firm in center when gently shaken. | | 7 | Cool. |
