Pecan pie

Ingredients:
1 cupC and H Golden Brown Sugar
-- (firmly packed)
3 Eggs
3/4 cupCorn syrup (light or dark)
1/4 tspSalt
1 tspVanilla
1/4 cupButter or margarine, melted
1 cupPecans (halves or pieces)
1 Unbaked 9" pastry shell
Procedures:
1In mixing bowl combine sugar and eggs; beat wel.
2Beat in syrup, salt, vanilla and butter.
3Stir in pecans.
4Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
5(garnish with pecan halves, if desired).
6Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until filling is firm in center when gently shaken.
