Ingredients:
CRUMB CRUST
3/4 cupFlour
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 Butter, cold and sliced
FILLING
1/2 cupSugar
1 tspCinnamon
1 1/2 tspCornstarch
2 tbspLemon juice, or to taste
1/2 cupWater
8 cupPeaches, sliced and
Procedures:
1Skinned slice the peaches and add all the other ingredients.
2Check for taste and adjust.
3Let massirate for about ?hour while you make the crumb topping.
4Assemble and bake at 375 °F for about 1 hr.
5Place pie plate on a cookie sheet to avoid spill-overs.
6Crumb topping.
7Put ?c flour, ?stk butter-in slicec, and ?cup sugar in fp, and give it short quick zaps until it resembles tiny peas.
8Sprinkle on peaches.
9Crust: i use the recipe on the crisco label.
10When i"m in a hurry i use a frozen crust.
11Again this was always made with peaches from styers
