Ingredients:
1 lbsGround chuck
1 medOnion, diced
1/2 cupDiced celery
1/4 cupDiced green pepper, optional
16 ozCan stewed tomatoes
10 1/4 ozCan tomato soup
2 cupWater
1 1/2 cupCoarsely chopped cabbage
1 tspSalt
1 tspChili powder, to taste
1 tbspBrown sugar
Procedures:
1Cook and stir ground chuck in dutch oven until light brown.
2Add onion, celery and green pepper; cook several minutes.
3Stir in stewed tomatoes, soup, water, cabbage, salt, pepper, chili powder and brown sugar.
4Heat to boiling.
5Reduce and simmer until cabbage is tender.
6Serves 6
