Oyster sauce - great chefs

Ingredients:
3 tbspButter
1/8 cupOnions, green, chopped
8 ozOysters
1 1/2 cupOyster water
1/2 tspThyme
1/2 tspOregano
1/2 tspBasil
1 eachGarlic clove
2 tbspButter
2 tbspFlour
1 cupCream, heavy
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
Procedures:
1Saute the green onions in butter until they"re soft then add oysters, oyster water, thyme, oregano, basil and garlic.
2Stir gently.
3Make a roux from the butter and flour and add to the above mixture.
4Simmer this sauce for 5 minutes and then remove it from fire.
5Add the cream to the sauce and keep the mixture warm.
6Season with salt and pepper to taste.
