Ingredients:

| cup | Water | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| cup | Milk, or Half & Half | | 3
| tbsp | Butter | | 2
| med | Potato | | 1
| | Onion | | 1
| | Carrot | | 1/2
| cup | Flour |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cube the potatoes ? after peeling them. | | 2 | Julienne the carrot, and chop the onion. | | 3 | Bring the water to a slow boil and add the potatoes & carrot, salt, and cook for 6 minutes. | | 4 | Mix the flour, 1 tablespoon of butter, and enough of the butter to make a stiff dough. | | 5 | Pinch off pieces of the dough and roll into ? ball and drop into the slow boiling soup. | | 6 | Saute the onion in the remaining butter until they start to brown. | | 7 | Add the milk & onions to the soup and cook for 5 more minutes. |
