Beef stroganoff

Ingredients:
1 Large onion, coarsely choppd
1 Large garlic clove, crushed
2 tspButter
1 lbsTender beef, such as
Tenderloin, eye of round
Or sirloin
1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
10 ozBeef broth or
2 Bouillion cubes disolved in
1 1/4 cupBoiling water
1/4 cupDry sherry or
2 tbspBrandy
1 tspWorcestershire sauce
2 cupSliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 tspGround black pepper
1/2 cupRegular sour cream
Procedures:
1Place onion, garlic and butter in a microwave safe casserole dish.
2Cover with another casserole dish of equal size.
3Microwave on high for 2 min. meanwhile, slice beef into ?in. strips and toss with flour.
4Stir coated beef and any remaining flour into onion.
5Microwave, uncovered on high for 2 min., stirring after 1 min. stir in all remaining ingredients, except sour cream.
6Microwave covered, on high for 10 min., stirring after 5 min. stir in sour cream and serve over noodle
