Ingredients:

| lbs | Round steak | | 1/4
| cup | Flour | | 2
| tsp | Dry mustard | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 2
| tbsp | Butter | | 2
| tbsp | Oil | | 1
| | Onion, finely chopped | | 2
| | Carrots, peeled and grated | | 2
| | Stalks celery, finely chopped | | 1
| can | (16 oz) tomatoes | | 2
| tbsp | Worcestershire sauce | | 1
| tbsp | Brown sugar |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut steak into 6 serving-size portions. | | 2 | Coat with a mixture of flour, mustard, salt and pepper. | | 3 | Using a large frying pan, brown meat in half the butter and oil. | | 4 | Transfer to crockpot. | | 5 | Heat remaining butter and oil in frying pan. | | 6 | Saute onions, carrots and celery until glazed. | | 7 | Add tomatoes, worcestershire and brown sugar. | | 8 | Heat, scraping up drippings. | | 9 | Pour over meat. | | 10 | Cover. | | 11 | Cook on low, 6 to 8 hours, or until tender. | | 12 | Serve meat with sauce spooned over. | | 13 | Sprinkle with parsley. |
