Ingredients:

| cup | Moong dal | | 1/2
| cup | Urad dal | | 1
| | Onion | | 2
| tsp | Coriander | | 1
| | Green chili | | 1/2
| tsp | Chili powder | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Ginger | | 1/4
| tsp | Baking soda |

Procedures:
| 1 | Soak urad dal and moong dal for 2-3 hours. | | 2 | Grind dals into a coarse paste. | | 3 | Add finely chopped onion, salt, coriander powder, chili powder or green chili, ginger and soda. | | 4 | Mix well and set aside for 4-5 minutes. | | 5 | Fry small spoonfuls of the mixture in hot oil. |
