Ingredients:
3 Garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbspOil, vegetable
1 cupWater
2 Chilies, red, hot, chop fine
2 tbspLime juice, fresh
1 tspSalt
2 tbspSugar, brown
1/2 tspShrimp paste (Kapi)
1 cupPeanut butter, smooth
1 canCoconut milk (14oz)
Procedures:
1In a small pan, fry the garlic in the oil until golden brown.
2Add water, chilies, lime juice, salt, brown sugar, shrimp paste, peanut butter and coconut milk.
3Stir until well blended.
4Summer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
5Use with chicken, beef or pork satays.
