Ingredients:

| tbsp | Butter | | 3
| tbsp | Onion, finely chopped | | 1
| cup | Rice, uncooked | | 1/4
| cup | Lemon basil, chopped/fresh | | 1
| small | Bay leaf | | 1
| tbsp | Parsley, chopped | | | Tabasco sauce to taste | | 2 1/2
| cup | Chicken stock | | | Salt & white pepper to taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 400 °F. | | 2 | Melt the butter in an ovenproof saucepan. | | 3 | Add the onion and cook until it is softened and translucent--about 5 minutes. | | 4 | Add the rice and cook, stirring, over medium heat for 3 minutes. | | 5 | Add lemon basil, the bay leaf, parsley, tabasco and stock. | | 6 | Bring to boil, cover tightly and transfer to the oven. | | 7 | Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender. | | 8 | Remove the bay leaf. | | 9 | Add salt and white pepper to taste. | | 10 | With a fork, fluff rice and serve. |
