Ingredients:

| cup | Water | | 1/2
| cup | Long-grain rice | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 4
| cup | Milk | | 1/4
| cup | Butter | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/2
| cup | Raisins (Golden) | | | Nutmeg |

Procedures:
| 1 | Bring water, rice and salt to a boil and cook 7 minutes. | | 2 | Add milk and butter; bring to a boil. | | 3 | Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 ?hours. | | 4 | Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla and add to rice mixture. | | 5 | Remove from heat and add raisins. | | 6 | Turn into 13 x 9 pan and sprinkle with nutmeg. | | 7 | Cover with plastic wrap and chill. | | 8 | May also be served warm. | | 9 | Notably norwegian by louise roalso |
