Oyster bisque

Ingredients:
2/3 cupUncooked rice
4 cupWater
1 pintOysters with liquid
1 tspInstant minced onion
Dash of cloves
1 Bay leaf
2 Chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tspCelery salt
1 tspWorcestershire
Seasoned salt and
-white pepper to taste
1 pintLight cream
Procedures:
1Cook rice in 2 cups water until very soft.
2Do not drain.
3Whirl in blender using some of remaining 2 cups water if necessary.
4Put rice and water in cooker.
5Whirl oysters with their liquid and add to cooker with remaining ingredients (be carefull not to let shell get into blender as it is very damaging to blades)..
6Cover and cook on high 1 hour.
7Turn to low and cook about 3 hours longer stirring once or twice.
8Remove bay leaf and stir well before serving.
9Makes about 2 quarts
