Beef stroganoff sandwich

Ingredients:
2 lbsGround beef
1/2 cupChopped onion
1 tspSalt
1/2 tspGarlic powder
1/2 tspGround pepper
1 eachLoaf french bread
2 cupSour cream
2 eachTomatoes, seeded and diced
1 eachLarge green pepper, diced
3 cupShredded cheddar cheese
Butter
Procedures:
1In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion.
2Drain.
3Add salt, garlic powder and pepper.
4Cut bread lengthwise in half; butter both halves and place on baking sheet.
5Remove meat mixture from the heat; stir in sour cream.
6Spoon onto the bread.
7Sprinkle with tomatoes, green pepper and cheese.
8Bake at 350 °F for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted (bake longer for crispier bread).
