| 1 | Combine sugar and water in saucepan over low heat. |
| 2 | Stir until sugar is dissolved. |
| 3 | Bring to boil and boil 10 minutes. |
| 4 | Cool. |
| 5 | Add sugar syrup to grapefruit and orange juices. |
| 6 | Chill thoroughly. |
| 7 | Add grenadine and ginger ale just before serving. |
