Ingredients:
| 1/2
| cup | Butter, softened | | 2
| tsp | Prepared mustard | | 12
| slice | White bread | | 6
| slice | Swiss cheese, cut in half | | 6
| slice | Cooked ham | | 3
| | Eggs, beaten | | 1/3
| cup | Milk | | | Confectioners sugar and | | | Cherry preserves |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a small bowl beat together the butter and mustard until well blended. | | 2 | Spread on one side of each slice of bread. | | 3 | For each sandwich, top one slice of bread with half a slice of cheese, one slice of ham, half a slice of cheese, and second slice of bread, butter side down. | | 4 | In a medium bowl beat together the eggs and milk. | | 5 | Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture. | | 6 | Brown both sides of the sandwich on a lightly buttered griddle. | | 7 | Place on a cookie sheet and bake in a 425 oven for 8 to 10 minutes. | | 8 | Slice each sandwich in half, sprinkle with confectioners sugar, and top with preserves. |
