Never fail fudge

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cupSugar
1/2 Stick butter or margarine
1 can(5oz) evaporated milk
1 canMARSHEMALLOW FLUFF(7-½oz)
3/4 tspSalt
3/4 tspVanilla
12 ozSemisweet-chocolate pieces
1/2 cupChopped walnuts
Procedures:
1Grease a 9-inch square baking pan, set aside.
2In large saucepan combine sugar, butter, evaporated milk, fluff and salt.
3Stir over low heat until blended.
4Bring to a full-rolling boil being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling.boil slowly, stirring constantly, 5 minutes,(soft ball stage).
5Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and chocolate until chocolate is melted.
6Add nuts.
7Turn into greased pan and cool.
8Makes 2-?pounds.
9Microwave fudge instructions: Combine sugar,margarine, milk, fluff and salt in a 4-qt microwave safe bowl.
10Microwave at medium high for 2-?minutes, remove and stir until blended.
11Microwave at medium high for 5 minutes; remove and stir until smooth.
12Repeat step Microwave at medium high for 6 minutes; remove and stir in chocolate, vanilla and nuts for 5 minutes until thick.
13Turn in buttered 9x9 inch square pan and cool.
14Important: instructions are for a 600 watt microwave oven.
