Procedures:
| 1 | Peel the sweet potatoes and slice thinly. | | 2 | Core the apple and cut into thin slices. | | 3 | (may peel, if desired). | | 4 | Layer the apples and sweetpotatoes into a square baking dish. | | 5 | Combine applesauce and water and pour over the layered ingredients. | | 6 | Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. | | 7 | Cover and bake at 400 °F for 40 minutes. | | 8 | May be served hot or cold. |
