Ingredients:
1/3 cupOlive Oil
3 lbsLean Ground Steak
2 xOnions, peel & finely chop
3 clGarlic, peel & finely chop
Salt
4 cupBoiling Water
1 tspCaraway Seeds
2 tspSesame Seeds
1/2 tspOregano
4 tbspChili Powder
1 cupPitted Green Olives
2 canKidney Beans (1 lb cans)
(drained and well rinsed)
Procedures:
11) chop the steak into 1 inch cubes.
2Heat the oil and beef a few cubes at a time, turning to brown on all sides.
3Add the chopped onions and saute over medium heat for 2 or 3 minutes then add the garlic.
42) season with salt to taste.
5Add the boiling water, caraway and sesame seeds and oregano.
6Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
73) gradually stir in the chili powder, testing frequently until you achieve the degree of flavour and hotness that suits you.
8Add olives, cover and simmer for another hour.
94) taste, and correct the seasoning then mix in kidney beans and heat through.
10toasted french bread, tortillas or corn bread go well with this and a crisp green salad.

12beer is the only drink that can stand up to the spiciness of the chili.
13cool and freeze in containers.
14Serving day heat over low heat.
