Afelia (braised pork with coriander)

Ingredients:

750 gramsPork fillet, leg or loin
1/4 cupButter
500 gramsNew potatoes, peeled
250 gramsSmall mushrooms
1 cupRed wine
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tspCrushed coriander seeds
Procedures:
1Cut pork into approximately 3 cm (1-?inch) pieces leaving some fat on meat as this is desirable.
2Heat half the butter in a heavy based pan and brown potatoes.
3Remove and keep aside.
4Add remaining butter and brown pork on each side, push to side of pan.
5Trim and clean mushrooms and fry quickly in pan next to meat.
6Stir to combine.
7Reduce heat to low.
8Pour in wine, add salt and pepper to taste and place potatoes on top.
9Sprinkle with coriander seeds, cover pan with lid and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes or until pork and potatoes are tender.
10Serve with a tossed green salad.
