Ingredients:
3 tbspBrown sugar
1/4 cupHot water
4 largeRome Beauty apples, cored
1 tbspLemon juice
12 ea Caramels
1/2 cupWhipping cream
Procedures:
1Combine brown sugar and water in an 8 inch square baking dish.
2Peel the top half of each apple; brush with lemon juice.
3Place in the baking dish.
4Fill each with three caramels.
5Bake at 350°F8°F.
6For 60 to 65 minutes or until apples are tender, basting every 20 minutes.
7Carefully lift apples, allowing any caramel in centers to drip into pan.
8And place in individual dessert dishes.
9Pour sauce into a small saucepan; add cream cook and stir over medium-low heat until sauce is smooth and thick.
10Spoon over apples; serve immediately.
