Ingredients:
2 Eggs
2 cupAll-purpose* or whole wheat
-Flour
1/2 cupVegetable oil or margarine
Or butter, melted
1 3/4 cupMilk
1 tbspGranulated or
-Brown sugar
4 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
Procedures:
1*if using self-rising flour omit baking powder and salt.
2Waffle irons come in many shapes and sizes, and this batter works well.
3Heat waffle iron.
4Beat eggs with hand beater in medium bowl until fluffy.
5Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth.
6Pour batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron.
7Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops.
8Remove waffle carefully.
9Twelve 4-inch waffle squares (three 9-inch waffles); 185 calories per square
