Ingredients:
4 tbspBUTTER, SOFTENED
2 tspMINCED GARLIC
2 tspMINCED PARSLEY
1 eachSHALLOT, MINCED
1 pinchNUTMEG
1 tbspGRATED ORANGE SKIN
1 tspPERNOD
1 tbspLEMON JUICE
1 xSALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
Procedures:
1Whip all ingredients together.
2Make sure that the garlic marinara is very thick.
3If it is too runny, the liquid from the mussels will make this dish too watery.
4The butter, too, is very strongly seasoned so that only the minumum need be added to give the right flavor.
5We serve this light natural tasting steamed dish with rice.
