Dark chocolate sauce

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupHeavy cream
4 ozBittersweet chocolate, chopp
1/4 cupUnsalted butter, softened
2/3 cupDark brown sugar, packed
3 ozUnsweetened chocolate, chopp
3 tbspAmaretto, or to taste
Procedures:
1In a small heavy saucepan, combine the cream and brown sugar.
2Bring the mixture to a boil over mod-high heat, whisking occasionally, and boil it, whisking, until sugar is dissolved.
3Remove pan from heat and add chocolates, whisking, until they are melted.
4Whisk in the butter and the amaretto.
5Continue to whisk until the sauce is smooth.
6Let cool slightly.
7Makes about 3 cups.
