Ingredients:

| lbs | Ground beef | | 1/4
| cup | Crushed crackers | | 1
| tbsp | Worcestershire sauce | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 4
| | Sticks cheese, 2x1 in. | | 10 1/4
| oz | Beef broth | | 1/2
| | Broth can water | | 1
| large | Onion, sliced | | 1
| tbsp | Cornstarch |

Procedures:
| 1 | In med. bowl, mix lightly but thoroughly beef, crumbs, worcestershire sauce and pepper. | | 2 | Shape in 4 oval patties. | | 3 | Enclose a cheese stick in each patty, covering cheese completely and tightly. | | 4 | Brown patties in a little butter in pan. | | 5 | In skillet with cover, bring broth and water to boiling. | | 6 | Add patties to skillet. | | 7 | Surround with onions. | | 8 | Cover. | | 9 | Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. | | 10 | Remove meat. | | 11 | Blend cornstarch with a small amount of cold water. | | 12 | Stir into skillet. | | 13 | Cook mixture, stirring until thickened. | | 14 | Add meat and heat if necessary |
