Ingredients:
1 lbsGround beef
1/4 cupCrushed crackers
1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
1/4 tspPepper
4 Sticks cheese, 2x1 in.
10 1/4 ozBeef broth
1/2 Broth can water
1 largeOnion, sliced
1 tbspCornstarch
Procedures:
1In med. bowl, mix lightly but thoroughly beef, crumbs, worcestershire sauce and pepper.
2Shape in 4 oval patties.
3Enclose a cheese stick in each patty, covering cheese completely and tightly.
4Brown patties in a little butter in pan.
5In skillet with cover, bring broth and water to boiling.
6Add patties to skillet.
7Surround with onions.
8Cover.
9Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
10Remove meat.
11Blend cornstarch with a small amount of cold water.
12Stir into skillet.
13Cook mixture, stirring until thickened.
14Add meat and heat if necessary
