Rhubarb-strawberry dessert sauce

Ingredients:
3 cup1" pieces fresh Rhubarb
1 cupHalved fresh Strawberries
2 tbspWater
1 cupSugar
1 tbspCornstarch
Procedures:
1Combine rhubarb, sugar, and 1/3 cup water in saucepan; bring to a boil.
2Reduce heat; cover.
3Simmer 5 minutes.
4Add strawberries; cook until strawberries are tender, 2-3 minutes.
5Blend together cornstarch and 2 t water; add to rhubarb mixture.
6Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
7Remove from heat.
8Chill in refrigerator until serving time.
9Yield 3 cups.
