Romano's meatballs

Ingredients:
1 lbsGround beef
1 lbsGround pork
2 Eggs, beaten
1 cupFresh bread crumbs, * see

1 smallYellow onion
2 Garlic cloves
1/2 cupParmesan cheese, grated
-fresh
Salt and pepper
Procedures:
1* please, no dry crumbs-just run some fresh or stale bread through processor.
2Soak these crumbs in ?cup milk.
3Mince and saute onion until transparent, 2 cloves of garlic, minced and sauteed with onion.
4Mix all the above in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
5Shape into desired size and either bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes, top with a tomato sauce and bake for another 30 minutes, or simply bake and top with a marinara sauce and grated cheese.
6I see a lot of meatball recipes with a ton of stuff in them, i prefer a few.
7Remember, meatballs as a main dish is italian, spaghetti and meatballs is not.
8That is an american invention.
