| cup | Sugar | | 2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| | Egg | | 1/3
| cup | Oil | | 1/2
| cup | Pineapple juice, reserved | | 1/2
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | 1/2
| tsp | Almond extract |

Procedures:
| 1 | Line a 9" round baking dish with parchment paper, folding paper over the sides. | | 2 | Put margarine on paper and microwave on high 45 seconds or until melted. | | 3 | Sprinkle brown sugar over margarine. | | 4 | Arrange 7 pineapple slices on top of sugar mixture. | | 5 | Decorate centers of slices with cherries place flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl. | | 6 | Add egg, oil, reserved pineapple juice and extracts. | | 7 | Blend with a wooden spoon and pour batter over pineapple slices. | | 8 | Rotating midway through cooking, microwave on 50 % (medium) 5 minutes; then microwave on high 4 to 5 minutes, rotating dish twice. | | 9 | Let stand 5 minutes and invert on serving plate. | | 10 | Remove parchment paper and discard. |
