Ingredients:
1 cupButter
1 cupMilk
1 tspVanilla
2 cupSugar
1/2 tspSalt
3 cupFlour
3 tspBaking powder
4 Eggs
2 Unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cupConfectioners sugar
1 Egg, beaten
1 tspVanilla
Procedures:
1      ?ea chocolate icing ?c butter cake: cream butter until fluffy.
2Add sugar and cream well.
3Add eggs one at a time.
4Beat well.
5Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
6Add alternating with milk ending with flour.
7Beat on low speed.
8Add vanilla.
9Pour into greased, floured pans.
10Makes three layers.
11Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
12Test for doneness.?chocolate icing: melt butter and chocolate in double boiler.
13Remove from heat.
14Blend sugar, egg, salt and vanilla into chocolate mixture.
15Beat until icing is creamy.
16Double for threelayers.
