Ingredients:

| cup | Sifted flour | | 2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Cloves | | 1 1/2
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 3/4
| tsp | Nutmeg | | 2/3
| cup | Shortening | | 1 1/3
| cup | Sugar | | 2
| | Eggs, well beaten | | 1 2/3
| cup | Mashed bananas | | 2
| tsp | Vanilla |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and spices together 3 times. | | 2 | Cream shortening with sugar until fluffy. | | 3 | Add eggs and beat thoroughly. | | 4 | Add sifted dry ingredients and bananas alternately in small amounts, beating well after each addition. | | 5 | Stir in vanilla. | | 6 | Pour into greased pans and bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. | | 7 | Makes 2 (8 inch) layers. | | 8 | Randy rigg the pinnacle club bbs 812-963-9139 |
