| cup | Shortening | | 2

| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1
| cup | Milk | | 1
| tsp | Vinegar | | 1
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1 1/2
| cup | Rhubarb, uncooked, sliced | | | Topping: | | 1
| cup | Brown sugar | | 1
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1/2
| cup | Nuts, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream sugars and shortening. | | 2 | Add eggs. | | 3 | Mix flour, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. | | 4 | Dissolve vinegar and baking soda in milk. | | 5 | Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture alternately with milk mixture. | | 6 | Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13" pan. | | 7 | Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter. |
