Hot brandy sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 cupSugar
1 tspSalt
3 tbspCornstarch
1 3/4 cupApple juice or water
6 tbspBrandy
2 tbspButter
1 Egg beaten
Procedures:
1Place in a saucepan the sugar, salt and cornstarch.
2Mix in the apple juice and cook over medium heat 5-8 minutes, stirring until mixture is creamy and transparent.
3Add the brandy and the butter.
4Beat the egg and add to the sauce gradually, beating with a wire whisk.
5Serves (sauce can be made ahead of time and just reheated)
