Ingredients:

| cup | Sugar | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 3
| tbsp | Cornstarch | | 1 3/4
| cup | Apple juice or water | | 6
| tbsp | Brandy | | 2
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| | Egg beaten |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place in a saucepan the sugar, salt and cornstarch. | | 2 | Mix in the apple juice and cook over medium heat 5-8 minutes, stirring until mixture is creamy and transparent. | | 3 | Add the brandy and the butter. | | 4 | Beat the egg and add to the sauce gradually, beating with a wire whisk. | | 5 | Serves (sauce can be made ahead of time and just reheated) |
